About Us
We represent the citizens of the 25th District, that believe in the Republican philosophy and values. We are a grassroots organization under the umbrella of the Pierce County Republican Party. Precinct Committee Offers (PCO's) are elected by voters in their respective precincts within the district and serve 2 year terms every other odd year.

Membership
We invite and encourage those who share our Republican values to join us and get involved. Member's in good standing with PCRP (Pierce County Republican Party) and who are elected or appointed PCO's within the 25th district may vote at meetings.

PRECINCT COMMITTEE OFFICER (PCO) RESPONSIBILITIES
The 25th Legislative District comprises the and is divided into ? neighborhoods called precincts. Some may be only a few blocks in size, while other rural precincts may cover several square miles. It is the goal of the 25th Legislative District Republicans to have an active Republican Precinct Committee Officer (PCO) in each precinct. We currently have ? PCO’s elected to represent the 25th district.

A PCO must be a registered voter residing in the precinct.
The PCO serves as the political representative for each neighborhood precinct. In general, they are responsible for promoting Republican candidates and issues in their neighborhoods and within the community. PCOs are encouraged to help recruit others to join them as Precinct Committee members, so no one person has to do all the work.

- They walk or phone their precinct once a year to make sure their neighbors are registered voters, hand out election materials, and remind people to vote. They can also send out emails or post cards to those in their precinct.
- They attend Legislative District and Pierce County Central Committee meetings.
OTHER ACTIVITIES:
- They coordinate with campaigns to educate voters and generate interest in elections on behalf of candidates and ballot measures.
- They call people in their precinct to encourage them to vote (Get-Out-The-Vote)
- Helping to find yard sign locations and putting up and maintaining yard signs.
- Writing a letter to voters in your precinct to share your opinions, ideas and reasons on candidates and issues.
- Writing letters-to-the-editor. Attending meetings to obtain information on issues and to meet candidates and elected officials.
- Attending training sessions to learn how to use GOP Data Center formally known as "Voter Vault" a database of registered voters provided by the Washington State Republicans.
- They attend local Republican Club meetings.
- They volunteer for Legislative District committees.
- They volunteer at local festival booths promoting Republican Values.
Not a PCO?
Not a PCO? We welcome you to get involved. To see if there is an Elected or Appointed PCO in your precinct, please contact us. With a simple search of your address we can see who represents your precinct, in the event there is an Elected or Appointed PCO, you can still get involved, you can become an Acting PCO in a precinct that doesn't currently have a PCO or you can help your current precincts PCO by working together and by becoming a Block Captain. We always need volunteers at festival booths.
